Burton Down Jacket

I'm looking to get a down jacket this year. I really like the Burton one. I'm afraid I might get cut a hole or something in the jacket and lose some down. Anyone have experience with down jackets or any suggestions on other jackets?

Wow, I have the jacket. It is ill, so far, its my drunk party jacket and pretty much, havent fucked it up. I ate shit and slid down the hill nice and fast. Only thing i dont like, is there is no hood.

I think Salomon made a puffy electric blue jacket a couple years ago. It was rad...I think Mike D wore it.

NFA made one a few years ago. and i haven't heard of puffies ripping so go for it they are sweet

ive been through many trees with my oakley puffy - so get one - the burtons ones look sick too

I have last year's Burton 6/4 down. This is the illest jacket I have. It has magnetic closures on the main zipper and the pockets. It is my powder jacket and it rules it in night riding. the thing fits like a dream and has been super durable. it also has a 10,000 mm waterproof rating, so you don't need to worry about getting the down wet. Buy this jacket. Oh yeah, its got a sick hood too. It's worth every penny of its $300 price tag.
