I know even before I get started that this thread is going to be filled with comments like "just a bunch of dirty hippies sitting arround getting even dirtieer", "only fags go to burningman", and "you suck"

If you take 5 minutes away from NS and actually look at the website (specifically the 'what is burningman section) you will realize that the above comments are completely false.

I was wondering if anyone from NS has been (or knows someone who has been) to burningman?

If you did go what was your experiance like?

I am about 90% committed to going this august/september and wanted to see what other people thought and possibly plan a group trip from Reno.

my friends went, they loved it. one of them is going back this summer. he said there was so much free drugs and booze. he did coke with these guys from england and they dropped the blow so it was cut with the desert. he also drank absinthe there.

BRING LOTS OF WATER! nobody brings enough water or really plans on water so you are able to trade water for whatever drug you want. everything there works on the barter system so bring random shit to trade
