Burn DVD+R

what is a good program that i can download off limewire that would enable me to burn AVI files to a DVD+R and let me play them through a standard dvd player?

Any dvd program by Nero or Roxio will probably work fine. If you want something fancy go with Adobe Encore.

i have nero, but you can only make data dvd's

yeah I use Nero express 6 or something like that, it works good

whats the difference between dvd+r and dvd-r

it's just called express 2 I think, free with burner, and yeah you can just copy, but not everything. Download Dvd Shrink 3.1 or higher to copy ANYTHING, it decodes whatever.

^and to answer the other ?, +R and -R are different dvd formats, most modern players read both, earlier ones were in debate of the best format to use, the standard these days is -R
