I used to live there a while ago and I have a buddy that is moving to Burlington. Just wondering where you guys buy your gear around there. Any decent local shops that cater to our needs?

I know about websites, but we like to support local shops if they are any good.

Let me know.

Alpine shop is decent... I wouldnt buy skis there though...

Skier shop in stowe is probably the place to go, Its pretty chill there
 
yeah, I am not just looking for a decent regular ski shop. I want one that has young guys working there that understand what we want. I could give two craps about race skis / carving skis. Any shops that carry Armada, 4frnt, Liberty, etc...

If there isn't one then I guess it is off to D Structure
 
skirack has Siver cartel though, so you know they must be good. I like alpine shop better for my bike stuff, skirack for my ski stuff
 
skiershop in stowe carries alot of what you said including liberty as of a few weeks ago...however they still dont have the selection you could get online..check out jibij.com, its just as easy as schmoozin in a shop, and they have everything you could be looking for
 
depends what ur looking for if ur looking for gear. that 803 boardshop or w/e has some dope technine shit. theres another board shop on cherry st. i think just east of church and cherry I THINK. they have some dope stuff super expensive though.
 
hour and a half away, check out Evolution Freeride in Killington.

Full line of twins (K2 / Line / Armada / 4frnt / Salomon / Atomic / Dynastar), Orage collection (including Masters Collection), full line of movies ( all of em'), DNA, Oakley outerwear, Anon. and tons of other good shit, and great prices.

Def. a "core" shop with a great staff. Plus if you live on the east, support a local shop and check your gear out in person instead of calling up another shop and mail ordering crap.

Plus they are putting on a huge rail jam Dec 19th, with tons of prizes (skis / clothing / ect)
