im looking at lydon st. near burke mountain, i was wondering how burke mtn was and if theres any other ski areas near there, also does anyone know how lynden state is?

a couple of my friends ski burke. they say its pretty good becuase its like a locals mountain so its real chill. they have good steeps and stuff and the park is not bad. the only bad things is the lifts are slow apperently

ya man i love burke. there's usually a good amount of snow, but the snow making is weak. there's tons of good tree skiing, and some steep stuff. their park has been getting better over the past few years, although its still not on the same level as sunday river or loon. there has never been a liftline in the 15 years ive been skiing there, and the trails are never crowded.

jay peak is about an hour north of burke, and gets DUMPED. their park sucks, but they have amazing trees and steeps, and more snow than anywhere else in the east.

Cannon is about 45 minutes south, and is also pretty core with a shitty park but plenty of legit hard stuff.

enjoy

go, its sick, i went there for 3 years and got kicked out cause i was at jay 4 or 5 days a week, burkes park is actually pretty sick, some of the lyndon students manage it, theres loots of good kids up there and skiing big jay is worth the 13,000 a year. if you go for ski resort management you get free passes to most areas your second year of school too, and theres alway rails set up all over campus. basically going to LSC is like being at a gnar daycare

yeah Burke and Lyndon are sick they also have a high speed quad for the mini/medium park so the only lift that is slow is the upper mountain quad. They are also planning on putting in new lifts and expanding. The mini park is really fun to do laps through and there are never lift lines. If you go to Lyndon get a pass to Burke before Jay. I ride Burke almost every day and only go to Jay 10 times a year. Lyndon is also not that far from Loon and a bunch of other good places.

yeah burkes pretty sweet ive skied there my fourteen years of life its got a pretty good park but they didn't have there better one this year but the high seepds fast enough so you don't have to hike at all you can take like fifty runs n half they day
