Bungie thingy

in all these ski movies in the urban sessions they use snow mobiles, or cars, and lately ive seen some where they use like a large bungie cord. what exactly is it? and where can i get one?
 
i made one just take a really long piece of surgical tubing and stretch till it wont stretch anymore and BLAOW instant speed
 
i dunno...i kind of think $115 US is a good price to pay if it means a good quality bungy that wont break and take your head off. $115 is cheap, considering ours cost us $350 AUD to get it here to australia
 
ok so i went to like lowes/ home depot, and got a long bungiee cord and it works great and only cost me like 45 bucks. usd. but i have another question. what is the generator pully system they have? where it like coils up the rope.
 
i tryed thought it would work but it was hard to yet all the right lenghts and stuff and it ended up only working for me. i was like 100 back then
 
A winch, little more expensive. I would stick with the bungee because a winch is some serious speed and you probably won't hit anything that you need that much speed.
