no joke....what the hell is that. hall may have been a little bit slower than the dawson, but he totally killed it way harder...oh well, it was a fucked comp anyway

 
i think they just didn't want to give anyone 20k, so thats why they fixed the points so DAwson wins by 1 point even though he fell in his run, meanwhile tanner had a clean 270 off and stomped D-9 at the bottom.

I am a fan of football, but what the hell who needs the 5th quater with bob lobel ( post game show) and tanner did get screwed.

 
Word to that, Hall had it wraped up as soon as the rail was over, and props to him in the bumps also didnt think he could work them.

 
one more thing... i love how JM is sitting in the judges booth and says how much he would want to do the free mogul run like someone is stopping him. i just think he knew that he couldn't compete with the rest of the field and didn't want to get wasted.

 
sorry to everyone who didnt see bumps and jumps, but i did i its entirty and it was worth it, there wasn't any new tricks thrown or anything special but it was good comp. the halfpipe was too long though...

 
Now, no one can refer to Tanner as a parkrat or anything like that anymore. I haven't heard it lately, but in the past people have definatly referred to him as one. For a skier who doesn't specialize in bumps, he skied them pretty well.

I've always thought of Hall as a park rat, but not more. He definately ripped those moguls apart... he was robbed. So totally robbed.

are you all insae. Did you even watch DAwson's and Hall in the finals. How could you say that Dawson didn't desierve to win. It was a mougl comp and Tanner cant ski bumps for shit. HE can huck and spin and flip and yada, yada, yada. But he proved to everyone watching him that he cant ski bumps. His range of motion in his absorbtion and extension was horrible compared to other competiors. If I was Dawson and I lost a mogul comp to Tanner I would pick up golf or something. The judges made the right call. TAnner deserved second place.

ozzy, speed was only 10% of their score, and thats the ONLY thing dawson out did tanner in

Tabletop (30%) - Tanner (d-spin 900 squeaked out Toby's misty 7)

Speed (10%) - Toby (2 sec.)

This was really close when you look at how it was scored. The 'PC' thing to do was to give Toby the win so that everyone looked good... except Raps, and the worm-turning Tuffelmire.

I was surprised at how adept most of the 'new-school' competitors were at moguls. I found a new respect for their all-round capabilities. Also, the world cuppers should be allowed to throw the off-axis tricks in comps since it was obvious this was something they practiced.

Another thing I noticed was in Moseley's segment. His renamed rodeo flip, the dinner roll, from years past bore a striking resemblance to a d-spin/corked 7 by the time it made it to the Olympics. Did anybody else catch that?

Some people got to learn...you don't need good equipment to get some mad tricks
 
Hey Ozzy were you watching the same comp as we were??? T.H. was not just robbed he was boned in the ass on national TV. I thought he handled it very diplimatically. I think the way he threw down on all of the events made the judges wery. That must have been why it took so long for the final word to comedown from the judges. The World Cuppers could not have some pot smokin free for all steal the three out of four events( I say this because CR really won the big air the others all went to Tanner I thought hands down) hear hear to da smokers Tan showed he was the best skier bumps and all. I want to see him ski some steepies and huck some cliffs. I'm sure he jams on that as well. I wonder does tanner know about NS??

I watched the whole thing and it wasn't a bad comp but I couldn't stand the announcers. they would say a nice 540 toxic grab and then when someone would throw a rodeo in the pipe they would be like look at this trick. I also think Dawson deserved to win the dual moguls

tanner didnt deserve to win. Imagine if you were a judge for one of those comps with all those percentages and shit. I dont care if they say that that speed was only 10%--if you see a guy rip through a moguls course so much faster than the other guy it would be hard not to give him the win. Tanner said that was the best he had ever skiied moguls but it looked so unnatural-so props to dawson.

 
i saw the big air and halfpipe in person and tanner killed the pipe. i saw him at the x-games and he sucked so he got a ton better at pipe. cr's bio 12 was sick also

 
Dawson definitely had the bumps but Hall's 360 was smoother than the backflip. He should have won.

I thing they wanted to split the money because hall should have won big air too. He had much more style than cr, look at the grab on his switch rodeo 9 and look at crs. Hall should have won tree of the four events.

 
stupid CBS, It wasn't on in buffalo because of the football game. And the game was over already too. Sounds like it would have been cool to see, especially tanner in the bumps

 
yeah it was good, but i disagree, bio 12 is a very hard trick, cr def deserved it...but your right, after watching a couple more times, tanner def to win the moguls no doubt.....
