Bumming at hood over teh summer

anyone done this? how much is a season pass for the summer and is this actually a realistic idea. maybe go for 2 weeks? public park worth it? cheap living? thanks

You can't stay at the Shamrock..it's private. Mt Hood Inn or Airstrip.

people camp at the airstrip, the shamrock is privately owned by windells now, and i stay at my house in portland.

yea the pass is rediculous, so you better plan on staying all summer to make it worth it.

but if you do, just camp at the airstrip and move every two weeks so your cool with the regulations.
