that is so gay, im sorry bro. there's nothing you can do right now except for PT, but hit the bike as soon as you can in order to get your knee loose and build your stamina back up. whenever they let you, do a little bit of hiking. youre not gonna be able to lift weights or anything with them for a while, so hiking or snow shoeing at your local hill will probably get your legs feeling good faster than anything else.
that being said, your knee isnt gonna be great until next season. sorry, that's just the way it is. my bro had the same sortve thing, he blew his knee in football and they let him back on skis in spring, but his knee was still super wobbly and weak. every time he hit an ice patch he had a panic attack because he could feel the graft vibrating inside his knee joint. he's back to 100% now though, but it took a lot longer than he thought it would.Â
i broke my shoulder really bad and tore it all up pretty early in the season a couple years ago. the good thing about that was that i could ski with it and just get it fixed over the summer, so that's what i did. i feel bad for anyone who gets a pressing injury that they cant ski through until the end of the season.Â
