anyone ever seen when the producer of bum fights goes on dr. phil, he cuts his hair just like him and wears the same suit, its fucking great
 
man..... that's horrible. The guy is pretty wrong for doing that.... and I love how disgusted DR. Phil is about it.
 
yeah, i think its pretty fucked up that he makes those videos and stuff, but i did laugh when he cut his hair exactly like dr phil.

and with this thread, bumfights gains a little more immortality. obviously the creator is doing something right. he's making bank on this (though i may not support it) i am jealous of his entrepreneurship and his bank account.

Dr. Phil is such a douche bag. The guy was right, Dr. Phil exploits people everyday on his show to make money. He's just as bad as the bum fights guy.
 
Yeah except he doesnt play on the weaknesses of people and make them look like pathetic losers on the internet, and also he doesn't cruely beat them.
 
No he dosent beat them but yes of course he plays on their weaknesses. Thats the whole point of doctor phils show... He claims he is helping people but he is just full of shit. Dr. Phill uses people who are int he most fucked up situations to make money and it works because people like to see it.
 
You're a moron, did it ever occur to you that he is trying to help people through their problems? No. And these people who go on his show don't have guns to their heads to go while bums are senselessly attacked for no reason and have no choice whatsoever, they exploit people. I cant even believe you're defending him.
 
I agree completely, in a way I think Dr. Phil's show is worse at times. Rather than exploit people physically, like the bum fights creator does, he exploits them emotionally. He takes people in the most fucked up home situations and displays them for the nation to see so he can fill his bank account.

The bum fights creator just takes the dregs of society and gives them a chance to earn a little money for some funny footage. I don't approve of it, but Dr. Phil trying to play the saint next to the bum fights creator is hypocritical to say the least. He staged the whole thing. The bum fights creator did not ask to be put on the show, Dr. Phil decided to make a show about it. To dress up like Dr. Phil was genius though, he was showing Dr. Phil that they are not so different.

Don't think that by watching Dr. Phil or any of those other fucking shows that you are any different from someone watching bum fights. You're entertaining yourself watching other peoples problems. Dr. Phil viewers just think its ok since people on the show are average Americans rather than hobos. The emotional pain being experienced by some of those people put on the screen by Dr. Phil in order to make money is far worse than the physical pain of some drunken mentally challenged hobo getting punched.
 
Like I said, people have a choice to be on Dr. Phils show. Bum Fights is just some idiot roaming the streets picking on poor old drunk people and exploiting them in a FAR FAR much worse way then Dr. Phil. They are getting savagely beaten for $10? They are like mentally handicapped people, they don't know better. And THAT is exploiting people, exploiting people is not when people agree to go on a show.

The shit they do to random bums is not bad from what I've seen. Pretending to arrest them and doing the Steve Irwin bum hunter thing are benign. The hobos usually agree to participate. Take Rufus, he is a cast aside mentally handicapped hobo, everyday he just lives to sit on the curb and beg. Meeting the BFK probably made his entire life. The Jackass crew is an act, these guys are the real thing.
 
Maybe you shoud do some research before you start making stuff up. Dr.Phil has a PHD in Clinical Psychology. Bum fights are horrible, it's ridiculous how they just roam the streets trying to get a good laugh.
