Really good documentary about bullying. Pretty sad at times also. I recommend you go see it. Its only in theaters for about a week, so go quick!

im all for the anti bullying crap but is the whole victims commiting suicide thing something new? or has that been around for a while, and were just now caring. because when my parents were in school they said tons of kids used to get bullied they just never acknowledged it.

Couldn't tell you. The movie actually shows that the school administration just doesn't care and refuses to do anything about it.

i think its because back when our parents were kids bulling was just a part of going to school and you just lived with it but now i think they went to far with there efforts to stop it they almost help the bully's because now when someone gets fucked with they don't think well that's school happens to everyone. but instead they have almost made it out to be that it dosnt happen to everyone only cirten kids so when they do get fucked with they just think there different and no one gives a fuck instead of realising that its just part of life

Didn't watch the trailer b/c I'm at school, but I think that its important for teachers/parents should to explain students how most bullies who are truly assholes, (I'm not talking about petty fights and whatnot in grade school, more like the guys who are in the last years of high school,) are most likely going to hit rock bottom a few years after high school. I've seen it happen, and most of those guys who were hot shit bullies in high school are now the ones who DUI and work at a restaurant, while the kid who studied hard in high school is getting school for cheap or even free and earning a sick degree. High school is really the peak of a lot of those guy's lives.

Oops, *I think its important for teachers/parents to explain how most bullies who are truly assholes*

People that commit suicide to bullying are a bunch of cowards. I was bullied when I was in elementry school, and I know what it feels it like. But I never thought of suicide. If you can learn to ignore and deal with the issues, it can make you a tougher and strong person.

seems spot on to me.

seems to be a relatively high proportion of alcoholism in people who work at restaurants in comparison to other, more technical fields, in addition to restaurants being generally shitty to work

anyway, the root of bullying is shitty parents. teach your damn kids some decency and assertiveness

I love that movie.

And they already made a movie about a kid who gets bullied and takes martial arts. Then beats up bully, its called Karate Kid.

Nothing wrong with working at a restaurent, I guess that was a wrong generalization to make. I know a guy who had a massive superiority complex in high school and picked on anyone who was smaller than him. The year after high school, he got pulled over driving intoxicated with a whole ton of drugs. He also happens to work at a restaurent, while many of the "losers" in high school are now pursuing impressive degrees. Nothing wrong with a restaurent, but still it is funny how the tables turn for many people.

What? I dont care, I toughed it out. And now him and me are on OK terms. Ive never been bullied in highschool at all and Im in grade 12.

Hahaha no your not if you never been bullied in high school it means your either homeschooled or you've yet to go. You're clearly basing your opinion off your experiences only, if I came to your high school and shoved your head in the toilet or beat the shit out of you every day I'm sure your opinion would change.

Im sure it would. Ive never actually have been I like to be friends with everyone. But everything has to lead to consequences. Remember the Asian boy who got gang beat? Mostly all the kids got caught, I cant remember. Also Kassy, the over weight kid. He stood up for himself that one day and made an impact on everyone.

This. Kids in elementary school can be harsh but it doesn't compare to some fucking senior douche bag beating the shit out of you on a weekly basis your freshmen year. Happened to one of my friends. He took martial arts and wound up doing mma in his free time. By the end of the year that senior was sorry.

I belive NS has bullied me..... kidding but the one thing that is different between us and when our parents were in school is now the bulling doesn't stop at school it carries over to Facebook and other like sites.
