Bull fighting - i had no idea

like in mexico/spain and shit, when they have a blanket, and the bull runs at it and they pull it away...that shit

they kill the bull. they stab it a few times before it goes out, and then the matador (sp?) just fucks around with it. at the end, he stabs it with a big ass sword, and it dies.

just thought id share, i didnt know thats what really went on.
 
yea..thats kind of a spanish tradition i might be wrong but i think they have been doing that umm for centuries. haha
 
well, i guess i was more shocked at the fact the bull is already dying before it even enters the arena. the matador just kind of puts on a show while the bull is dying. then stabs it once. then if the crowd/president likes the show, they give the matador either one, two, or no ears from the bull depending on how good it was.
 
oh, and bulls arent attracted to the color red, they are attracted to movement. didnt know that either
 
its brutal but you still have to respect other cultures. I personally think its fucked up too. Look at the romans they used to watch people kill each other in the coloseum(sp?)
 
no no no...im not saying they shouldnt do it, its wrong blah blah blah.

i mean, it is wrong, but its culture yes, and american culture is just as brutal.
 
I went to Venezuela when I was in grade 4 and we thought it would be cool to see a bull fight, well I had no idea that they killed the bull and I started crying and freakin' out.
 
thats equally as wrong as bull fighting.

when they have a pig or whatever run away and they laso it, sometimes it breaks the necks
 
its a baby cow. "Calf" if you will. yeah that is not so good. but when those dudes are riding them at a pro level... the dudes are getting more worked than the Bull...

but if you are here to tell everyone about how sports with animals are bad for animals we all should just stop talking and agree... cuase they are deff. getting "exploited"
