building twin tips

Does anyone know how to build your own twin tips. Im in need of some thing to do.

I pitty the fool who don't use 1-800 Collect.
 
You mean bend the tails on old skis? There was an article on the powder website www.powdermag.com a year and a half ago. You might be able to find it in archives or something.

 
heat up the tails of your skis with a blow torch, wait unitl they are crispy brown, step on them to bend back however far you want, put liquid nails in them, clamp them and let sit for 24-48 hours

or you could use a table vise and a heat gun. Heat up the skis, bend them slowly, let them cool, take them out of the vise, drill holes in them and insert rivets to prevent delaming. Tested and proven method!

yeah, it works much better on a foam core ski though. and if you wanna do something real cool, take one of those plastic snowboards, (the ones that are solid, with inserts) and trace your ski outline on um. cut um out, mount some bindings, and you have a ski thats perfect for ledges. dont try any nose presses or anything though, they arnt that strong.
