What is the trick to building a good booter in the back country? I have built a couple but I feel like they could be better.

when i do it, i like ot make a huge as pile first. then pack it down with the shovel. then step on it with teh skis to pack it down and form it hte way you want

what do you mean how do you build jumps in the the b.c.? find a headwall and build a jump off of it not much to it dude

i didn't go to college and check me out i'm kick ass
 
yeah big pile and pack it is the best way ( if its off a cliff ahve somone hold a board or somting to stop snow from fallin in the gap or what have you )

pile it up, pack it down, carve it so its got a good curve on the takeoff, not just like an angled slope

Post whore...geezus. I dunno man...I'm thinking the 'angled' approach is best. Look at back country kickers in ski films. They aren't fucking bowled out...they're shaped like a big ass wedge. You don't want this thing to land you on your head. LATE

I'll tell you where...someplace warm...a place where the beer flows like wine...where beautiful women instinctively flock like the salmon of capastrano...I'm talkin' about a little place called Asssspennnnn...
