Building a rail

what would the best top surface be for this rail? it is 7'9"

long. it is 4 inches wide on top.

id say 2, 1 and a 1/2 inch pipes

id say hdpe and take the middle triangle thing and put it on the other side

Definetly PVC...go with 2-1 1/2 Inch PVCs..2 inches will make you go over the sides

ur prolly gonna wanna make it longer. pvcs are sold in 10' sections which is pretty decent

why is the rail 7'9'' i thought 2x4s were 8' and 10'and use some PVC

Some are 7 3/4' and are cheaper......make sure to check to see if they are 8'.....I made the mistke before.
