building a jump at sunshine

pretty much just off standish there, were is the spot where ur bro and his buddies built for that one movie 101? and i think theres a picture from the same spot in the skier mag we got today with registration (the pic is in the sunshine article)

off of contintental divide, you can build a massive jump, but the landing is kinda flat for the size of the jump. you can also get to it from the angel green run, build the jump into the side of the cornice dealy.

I stopped doing the backdoor when i saw a mom and her 2 kids skiing it. i was like this is retarded. Even wawa ridge gets skied out super fast. Too many people think they are hardcore.

I take it you have never ventured into the dive or wild west, if that is your opinion. Which is suprising cause you rip big mountain so hard.

 
sunshines too fucking far to drive i prefer the quay much better skiing. Not to mention close proximity to banff afternoon life. yeah party!

 
i dont think the dive is all that nutty, its just steep for a few hundred feet and then you have to traverse your ass out. Of course i havent gotten it with decent snow yet either.

the idve can be crazy, or it can just be a steep run. It depends on where you go. You can definately make some intense lines in there.

 
ohhhhhhh ive been in the dive before buts its not anything too special, and yo uhave to take 2 lifts, and hike to do 1 run in it. LAME SAUCE.

Golden has better stuff, and more of it and you dont need a dam avalanche beacon to ski it.

friedcheese not to mention the numerous back country spots with a 10 minute hike from the top of the north american, the quay rocks. are you going on sunday? the back bowls should be killer. get your mom to talk to mine and see if they'll let us go.

if you go off standish, not at the exit gate, but straight back from riding off the chair, you come to a observation deck after about 10min of hiking, if you ride to the right of it there is a big open bowl with a tight tree gap in it
