alright I'm sure everyone does this but I'm desperate and don't have the crazy amount of time i usually spend researching my gear so help me in the right direction.

I just moved to Bozeman mt from the midwest so i need all new gear. i need skis that i can charge powder with but also cruise groomers on all day. also boots, goggles, and snow pants. I need suggestions here, what would you recommend? also everything has to be built for the cold. the super cold. HELP ME PLEASE.

Thank you in advance

skis: salomon fish jr.

outerwear: footy pajamas

boots: bean boots

with a set up like this you're bound to get tons of pussy

Armada skis/outerwear, TREW gear, Arnette/Electric/Smith goggles, Dalbello boots, Salomon binders, Rime knits, Minus 33 base layers, Skullcandy headphones, what else...

I'm not going to do your research for you but get good, at least 20k outwear, with some solid base layering. You're in Montana, aka its gonna be fucking cold. Are you going to be touring at all? You'll at least hike a bit I'm assuming. Layering is seriously key. Get a decent backpack you can bring with you skiing.

Skis. again, are you going to be touring? If not, then bindings also will be narrowed down. Get at least 105-110, if not fatter of a ski underfoot.

What's your budget? I'm sure boze has some great second hand gear stores if you're running tight, if not, go buckwild and get yourself some good gear, you're gonna need it.

Boots: find a good dedicated ski shop or a shop with a good experienced fitter. Generally shops that are focused around ski racing have good boot fitters so try find one of them.

Skis and Bindings: depends on your height, weight and ability for bindings but Attack 13/16, Axial2's and Salomon STH2 are all good options for your mid-heavy advanced skier, all of them have a good DIN range and are good quality.

Skis you should try to demo some from a shop that's the best way to decide what you want. Also with skis what profile, stiffness and width do you want?

For something that's good for powder and groomers you'd probably want somewhere around a 100mm - 115mm waist with a bit of rocker but it's quite a lot of personal preference. In that waist width with rocker you have a lot options just to name a few: Armada TST, Line Sir Francis Bacons, ON3P Kartel 106 or ON3P Jefferey 114, the list just goes on and on so your best bet is to go and demo a pair and look around what the shops have.
