^idk dude you have no idea how stressfull and shit it is to be rich. you just go crazy. lifes so much different when yer incredibly rich. i can seriously say i would never want to have as much money and dave chapelle. let alone be dave chappelle.

 
^^ thats probably true but what all the rich people are doing wrong is letting everyone know they are rich. just the thought of being rich enough to not have to worry about everyday expenses would keep me happy.

yeah but you would have to motivation in life. nothing to look forward to. you could sit on yer ass for the rest of yer life and it wouldnt matter one bit. and just to be able to afford as much of any drug as you wanted wouldnt be cool.and it doesnt matter is you become a burn out because you will never be poor.

i think the bottom line is that chapelle is quite the perfectionist, i'd bet that the stress isn't from his fans, or for his 50 mil contract, i think its because he has an enormous amount of self inflicted pressure to continually one up himself.
