Please do that. It sounds terrible.

Also - check your computer for malware. We really don't run any advertising which is THAT obnoxious. Sometimes something sneaks through the programmatic markets but often it's an infected computer.

Fwiw I see the same stuff theyre talking about. Just check pwoym when a new page starts. You won't see the last members post and will just get a blank page for the first 10ish posts

It's on an iPhone, and its not jail broken. iOS is pretty secure, I'd be surprised if I had malware. And if it was some malware that snuck into safari, it would be unlikely for it only to appear for one website. I'll grab a ss of it and do a reverse lookup to see if I can figure it out.

It may be the advertisements though, I know of an app that had an issue where these sortve pop ups where coming through the advertisements, making it impossible to scroll, or do anything besides click on the pop up.
 
After some quick research I found an older thread on the apple support website on this or a very similar pop up, which essentially bricks your bowser until you click it. Of course it's Apple so they said it's impossible that an iPhone could get malware, and that it is more likely that the advertisements on the websites are "bad" or a weak point. Guess this is similar to the AppStore pop up from a while back.
 
Video player has been giving me issues for over a month now. Surface pro 4, windows 10, chrome and firefox.

Random issues depending on the day

- Videos will go straight to the end after the add

- Video is just black and doesn't show anything

- Says there's an error and can't play

- I'll start up firefox, go to NS, be able to play one video fine, then the second gives me one of the above three issues

Refresh, or restarting browser doesn't help

Videos work 100% of the time on edge, but i hate using edge.

I've checked both of your accounts and I can't find this exact link, I've gone through each of your alerts but the links are correct. Did this link come from the e-mail, the header, or the alerts page?

Did this URL come from the browser address bar after you visited the "ghost page", or was this the link provided in the alert?

Ok, it's strange that you don't have the extra variables int he URL (like: &utm_source=alert&utm_medium=web...) I've checked your Alerts and all the links are correct, so I'm not sure how you are getting such a strange URL.

Regardless, I've made a change I hope will help.

Went through the mythreads alerts and the url is from the address bar

Every time the post whats on your mind thread is supposed to begin a new page the first 5-10 posts don't show up until a few more people have posted. So as of right now that thread should be on page 1330 with 4-5 new posts but it's still loads as 1329. If someone posts something new it still updates in my threads but the new posts do not show up.

Actually, that makes good sense. It's the deleted posts that's throwing off the counts, so loading the last page isn't really the last page if there are a few deleted posts.

The Alerts links should take into account the deleted posts when calculating the page, but the thread list would be incorrect. We can fix that.

I'm also on an iPhone and I keep having pop ups where it loads a different page to tell me I've won a 100 dollar gift card, just started happening this week ( iOS, safari, iPhone 7 plus)

There's also a chance this is a fluke caused by a major server migration we're doing right now. The site is likely going to be relatively buggy this week as we finalize this thing.

Servers are pushing 7 years old right now, we're getting the whole thing set up on some fresh hot brand new tech.

Gotcha, makes sense. And I've seen it quite a few times in the Trump thread in NSG. Even happened to one of my posts.
 
On mobile (iOS 10.2 Chrome iPhone 6) if I'm listening to music on my phone then open NS it pauses my music to "play" the muted audio of the banner advertisement.

This is actually a common internet problem with certain combinations of ads and sites.

Looking into a solution though, because this is annoying.

My drop down threads ribbon isn't working and it's driving me crazy. It just loads and never show up (picture)
 
On my lap top the BC hydro banner ad (expanded or not) on the home page sits on top of the drop down menus and stops you from being able to click on the first few items.
 
I'm 404ing on everything on my phone now as of last night. Can't log out, can't change pages. Everything 404's

The 404 issue lasted for almost 2 days on my phone.

I didnt change anything and suddenly it worked again. So all is well but no idea what was happening. I hadnt made any browser changes and my NS tab was still active from before.
 
Still seeing a lot of problems with ghost pages as a result of new posts going to the next page in large threads like the Revision one, etc. Happens on Chrome on my Macbook, Chrome on my phone, and in the NS app.

^and that's just the main webpage address, the specific page is a longer address....if that makes sense.

Ads that auto play video make my music (YouTube red) stop streaming. Kinda annoying, not sure if there's a fix... except to have non auto playing ad's
 
I continually have an issue where when I dm Simone random symbols appear in some of my words and it’s supppee annoying please fix bishop
 
For a couple of weeks already whenever I go to browse the photos in the photo section maybe 80% of the photos can't load when I click on them and the "alt" text appears. I don't have any problems with my internet connection.
 
thumbnails of pics are showing up fine in the photo section, but when I click on them nothing is showing. Tried app, mobile, and desktop. all the same.

So far the only way to see them in desktop is to inspect the code where the picture should be and just copy+paste the URL in the "data-nativephoto" attribute.
 
When I click the page number for post what's on your mind I get sent to the last page but no posts show up. I have to click the last page again from there to get to the same page with the posts.

Yessir. Not sure why I posted about it in bug reports since it's not a bug.. oh well. I just got nervous that i wouldn't be able to get back to the form because I used the notification to get to it in the first place!

If I quote multiple posts and hit the little reply arrow on the last quoted post only that post is quoted. If I quote them all and hit the reply thread button at the bottom nothing is quoted. I can't quite multiple posts, unless I'm doing something wrong. App, Android
 
Unable to update profile photo. The selected file appears to successfully upload but does not show up.

Tried on Safari as well, since sometimes Firefox does not enjoy cooperation.

I’m pretty sure quoting multiple posts is also broken on desktop
 
also when i click on a picture in a thread (on pc windows 8) it opens up a window like it should but the picture never loads, its just a little white box with an x in the corner of it.
