Budweiser gets a bad rap.

people rag on Budwieser?!? wtf. first off, bud is a fucking awesome beer, an american classic. for the price, id say its one of the best tasting beers under 20 a case. second, and something that prolly influences ALOT of decisions is where you get the beer. i happen to live in columbus Ohio, literally 5 minutes from the midwest budwieser brewery. everyone around here drinks bud beers, cause they are always fresh. if your gettin beer that was canned/bottled a few weeks before you bought it, its prolly had time to warm and cool multiple times, hence skunking it, and making it taste like ass. literally any beer will taste like dog piss if you do that too it. most of the bud beers we drink are no older than a week old. the difference between that and something bottled and transported from somewhere else is very evident.

now, since everyone else is doing it, ill list some of my fav beers, cause its the cool thing to do

bud is fine. half the people on here are beer snobs and also couldnt tell the difference between a lot of beers with the ol' blind taste test.

I will say, PBR is my least fav beer, and it infuriates me more that a lot of my friends like it

bud is meh, theres better.

so does no one drink molson canadian? its pretty good but i dont know the prices down in the states...

in B.C its 24$ for a 12 pack soooo, i dont splurge on beer often...

are we the only ones that understand what it is like to be broke, drink beer, be happy, and still get laid with a girl that wont puke?

Well said my friend, well said....

STELLA ARTOIS FOR LIFE. you kids keep your natty ice and other watery beers... take it and keep it, i don't want it. smoke trees, drink Stella.

those are good when u want a good tasting beer. When you just wanna get drunk and not go broke any watered down light beer tastes fine to me.

when it comes to chilling with a beer, i'm definitely a bud guy. i'm not some picky beer snob who only drinks $15 12packs.

its beer who cares what it tastes like...then again im in college and most of us will drink anything

why do people like corona? it tastes exactly like a cheap, light beer, nothing special. the marketing just suckers you in.

for pong my fav is busch. at school its 8 bucks for a 30, WITH A 2 DOLLAR MAIL IN REBATE. that brings the total to 6 bucks, for the less math-inclined. you really can't beat that, and busch is by far the easiest beer to chug.

hahaha, ns is soooo fucking funny sometimes.

you guys are all such experts. soooo many cool kids on here.

i really though people stopped analyzing shit beers when they were like 14.

"i think pbr is much better than red dog, stronger flavor!"

red dog sucks

bud sucks

bud light sucks

miller sucks

keystone sucks

icehouse sucks

all cheap beer fucking sucks, it sounds so fucking gay arguing about what shit ass beer tastes best.

not to say that i dont drink cheap beer, i always do. but im not gonna sit there and fuckin talk about the flavor unless im drinking something that at very least in a bottle.

im not 16. im no fucking beer genious but i drink a lot more good beer than most kids my age though. wasnt trying to say im a fucking expert or something, but if im gonna compare beers its gonna be something good, not shit.

Actually commercials had no effect on me. I just started drinking it because my family does and I've been hooked.

Not sure if that quite qualifies you as a connoisseur. A bunch of crappy American beers and a couple imports you can find anywhere in the world...

Bud gets a bad rap, because it's simply, bad.

8 bucks...fuck thats cheap...we drink busch here too but its like 14 for a 30....I just may need to find out where you live and buy them out....

Alright. Sorry to burst your bubble, but every beer on your list is some giant corporate brand shiz. The key is to find specific beers brewed in a single location, and only shipped locally.

For example: Bell's Hops Slam....Dogfish Head 90 and 60 minute IPA's. The list goes on.

But I can't blame you, or anyone else in here for that matter for not knowing any kinds of less-corporate manufactured beers. The only reason i do is cause of my brother who knows what/where/how do get all different types of beers you've never heard of. That's all.

i know but i was just naming off beers i had this summer. i could name off every micro i've ever heard of that people like but whats the fucking point becasue i've never tried them. i just arranged the beer in what i had and what i liked better than others.

when i said connousieur(wow this could give sponsered a run for its money) in the first place i meant i drank a fucking huge variety of beer this summer. ANd well being in high school, getting fancy beer is out of the question for most of us on this site. IF we had the budgets and the access to drink fancy beer we would.

im just gunna put it this way. im 18 and i can get whatever beer i want. but i usually just get bud or bud light or some other light shit beer.

1 because you can drink more of it

2 its cheaper and i dont have a lot of cash

3 its get you drunk

4 and ill drink any beer. as long as it does the job

(insert comment bashing someones taste here)(insert suggestion for a beer someone else will have a problem with here)

Alright good enough for me. I wasn't trying to put you down or anyhting...cause I know that if you could get good stuff, you would. So yea.

i wanna know how many of you actually drank legally...illegally would be too high of a number. haha

Please dont call yourself a connoisseur* of beer and then give that line up; thats pretty sad. I'm sure there are a slew of people that read this thread that actually enjoy beer, and know what GOOD beer is. So im gonna join that crowd because I dont even know where to start...

Man, I hail from Fort Collins, CO basically microbrew central, and although bud is brewed here, I don't like to admit to it,because it has nothing on our other beers.

Anything from NEW BELGIUM is def. my fav around here.
