BUDS!!!

Wish I could go to it the event looks like great banter especially the drinking! I'm a first year at Aberdeen Uni by the way, what uni you from?

 
Fuck yes I'll be there! BUDS is one of the highlights of my year. What Uni you going with also Aberdeen dude - why not come to SUDS? Same deal except it's just the Scottish Unis so it's nuts.
 
It's gunna be huuuuuuuuge. Can't wait for pretty much the whole thing. Managed to get a few hundred people chanting my name at the Ball last year (claim) so it's gunna be hard to top.
 
Most definately am going to suds and buds. I live and go to uni in edinburgh so any of you who would go but cant afford to stay pm me and i can hook you up with somewhere to pass out to.
 
University of Aberdeen is where I'm at! I'm seriously cutting back on spending money so I can afford ski holidays this year, I want to get as much skiing in as possible so that means I have to hold onto every penny! Not sure about SUDS yet.
 
Haha, I know, I actually went my 1st year after graduating, but 5 years later I don't even know anyone at my uni club anymore!

Still havnt got round to joining the plymouth uni ski club so im not going, pretty bummed, but i will hit it hard next year!!

Dude I know I'm not the best looking kid, but seriously give me some credit. That kid looks like a gorilla and also importantly is on a SNOWBOARD!
 
yeah time constraints is the main problem they didnt have any proper "big air" warm up cos the boarder x was on so people were going into qualifiers having not hit the kicker all day/all year. its the problem with trying to jam in 8 racing disciplines and both slopestyle and big air into 2 days on such a small area with slope space being used in for racing and freestyle
 
Too bad, I like Skier X. Pretty stoked and looking forward for next year, just need to get some skis, biggest problem for me at the moment for sure.
 
Also quite difficult to properly do it on dryslope as well. The level of skiing is ridiculous... so much better than few years ago at BUSC Main Event. Good to see the girls are a lot better as well.. But the boarding is seriously lacking...

I was at the ball too - cheese cake fight got out of hand pretty quick!!
 
ha i was sitting really near that, what uni you from? i take it you also saw the girl being taken out in a wheelchair at like 8:30?
 
Haha.. hope she's alright but it was kinda funny seeing someone that fucked that early in the night! They cleaned the cheese up pretty quick....
 
Haha, BRUMSKI!!!! Yeh she was fucked, she fell backwards off her chair then someone pushed her upright and she face planted into the table. Fucking hilarious. She doesn't remember any of the night but she was throwing up over her room where we were staying, pretty spectacular. We also had one guy get kicked out, try to climb over the venue, lose his shirt, get taken by the police to Asda to buy a new shirt, get taken home by the police, get lost, get picked up by a different police car, then make it home.

All in all it was pretty epic, plus Brum came 3rd overall so fuck yeh. And i "landed" the shittest 3 ever in the big air. Fuck me that was a good weekend.
 
haha that is a solid effort man. we had someone get lost too, god knows how he got home. he got kicked out, put in a cab, almost immediately threw up in said cab, got kicked out of the cab, ko'd at a bus stop, was found by other folk from our group and taken to a hostel on the other side of edinburgh to the one he was staying in then somehow made it home.

the big air and slopestyle was crazy, was so good to see everyone throwing down so hard and to see people with no experience still going for it was great.
 
I'm Famous!!! And Yep I'm alive - Brumski punch on an empty stomach... Apparently the restraints were because i kept trying to get away from the paramedics?! maybe in my final year i'll actually get some cheesecake - all I wanted was a "Tom Harpur" moment!
