Buckles on Flexons/Full Tilts

I'm starting a design of a ski boot for my portfolio (I'm an industrial design student), and I am trying to find out more about the Flexon/Full Tilt buckle system. I have a pair of Kryptons, but the pictures of the Full Tilts don't look like they buckle quite the same way. Could someone please explain how they buckle and micro-adjust? Thanks.

The buckles push backwards for tighter enclosure, in small incriments (hence the micro adjust) To go looser, your push a small ratchet on the buckle, and it releases the buckle. Having the smaller adjustings makes it was easier i think.

Flexon comps have a push down buckle which moves on a metal track with teeth. The cable is tightened by moving the buckle on the track. The toe buckle is reverse so you pull cable across to the inside to close. Let me know what else you want to know, I have a few pairs around still.

yeah there's a little tab that releases it from the teeth that are on the track. Hold in the tab and you can slide it along the track, release the tab and it locks in position.
