Alright, who's up for some postseason fun? I'm proposing a Baker trip... would be cool if we got a bunch of people together for some session-ing and such. When would people want to do a trip up there, maybe weekend after next?
 
i will be up there around every 1-2 weeks. if its sunny. i think im going either saturday or sunday.

if you go memorial day weekend, then make sure its not on ski to sea (sunday)? they shut down the highway from early morning to like afternoon.
 
i dont know anyone off here really but i will ski! any weekend! please hit me back im getting depressed with this warm weather.
 
well right now we have a few things built. They all need a little work when you get there because they melt fast, but it takes like an hour. So no biggie.

But we have a kicker dug out of a windlip tree bowl thing. Peep my profile for pictures.

We got this large step down with prolly a 30 ft gap on it? pictures are in my profile.

THen I know of 4 other jumps, and the step up's are built too.

All within a 30 minute hike. It's super quick.
 
tell me the day cause ill be out of cell phone service tomorrow staying in maple falls !!! i was hitting the step up two weeks ago and could barely make enough speed, is it hitable right now ?
 
Yeah dude no one is making it hahah. I've seen a couple people do it, but I've seen more than 10 eat shit. It's not that gnarley of a crash if you don't make it though.

The in-run is super shady right now
 
Yah out of the group i was in of about 8 probably only me and my 1 bud could make it cause we waxed the night before. The forecast is not looking promising right now, noooooo!
 
the drive is like 3hrs... what day is everyone planning on making the trip? Im def down for some skiage, been missing it
 
I'm thinking Sunday or Monday this week, but I know theres that big mountians to sound thingy this weekend, not sure when it is tho. Highway will be closed for it, so if its both days it might turn into a Rainier trip.
 
how about go up Sunday, build sompin nice. then ski it that affternoon/evening camp the night then ski in the morning then come back down to seattle
 
come saturday. gonna be a keg and shit at the step up. I'll be there shooting photos and doing a little skiing. Bring money for beer and weed or bring your own. If you're down with that I guess.

 
Wait, I mean Monday. Sea to Ski is Sunday, so the road will be closed. Everyone else should get off their ass and get up there, I'm down with carpooling if you need a ride.
 
I'm not planning it so I can't really change it.

All I know now is more than one keg, at the step up, digging it out friday night. if you dig then beer is free.

But come out if at all possible, it's gonna be dope.

Dude, I'm down with some climbing, keep me up to date on any plans. As for this weekend, I think I'm fucked, I just got assigned to work both days I thought I had off...
 
Ok so im a canadian but would like a job at baker if possible next season, is under the table work at baker a possibility for me ??? to anyone that works at baker if they could message me or just leave one on here, thanks.

baker is an international 'corporation' which is why the website is a .us instead of a .com

so i think canadians can work there too if they can make the time commitment
 
there is going to be a slush cup tomorrow weather permitting. i might just go if its rainging anyways.
 
hows the snow up there? i'll be up there next weekend if there is still enough... anyone else thinking about heading say the 28th or 29th-ish?
 
i think we are going to be up there on friday between noon and 6, if anyone else is thinking about making the drive
