BS 270 Out VS FS 270 Out

What trick is easier for you guys? A lot of people say the Blind side 270 is harder, but I think it is easier because dropping your lead ski seems to come almost naturally. Anyways, what one did you guys learn first?

front is easier for me, it's even the opposite way I spin if I'm sliding natural. It might be because I tend to come onto rails from the side though.

Learned front 2s first since I slide rails left foot forward, and blind 2s would involve right side spins (spin left naturally). Got into blind 2s with right foot forward, and started trying right blind 2s this season. I feel like blind 2s take a bit more commitment, since there's that blind second early on.

between the two I find front's easier, but if it's a 4 and above out, i find backside's easier if I'm sliding naturally because it's my natural rotation

i honestly still don't know the difference, but when I'm on the rail natural (right foot forward), i spin left (counter clockwise) off and find that easier.

Yea front 2's were easy cuz you don't have to move your head but I find Back 2's more fun because they can be so floaty:)

i find i can spin faster on frontside

Vail resorts pulled my pass for spinning too fast frontside. Some bullshit about how I could've cut someone's head off.

blind 2's flow so much better (especially cuz I can't hit rails switch) so you just keep going, if you land a front 2, you either have to revert or go switch on to the rail

I've always done blind 2s so I find them easier, ive only done front 2s at friends houses but I've done front 4s at the mountain and it was still pretty easy. I can never commit to a front 2 because I find it weird just spinning yoir skis not your body but I'm gunna get them down this weekend

It depends which foot you naturally slide with forward and which way you naturally spin, at least in most cases.

For example, if you naturally spin to the left a front 2 is easier with your left foot forward and a back 2 when your right foot forward. Likewise, if you naturally spin to the right a back 2 is easier with your left foot forward and front 2 is easier with your right foot forward.

easier on different rails, they are both the same difficulty for me and cant really distinguish between them

unnatty however back 2s are a little easier because they dont really require as much of an edge

I can blind 4 out of some things and I haven't even tried to from 2 yet, but I'm going to learn them this week

Front twos are easier because your head doesn't go backwards at all. In a front two, you can look at your landing the whole time. Back two's look way better.

Front 2s for me. Especially when I come on from the side, it's super easy to grip and set the spin that way.

I feel that. Reverting kills speed and you need as much as you can get in the backyard and hitting rails switch is scary af.

i did my first blind 2 before my first front 2 because i think a blind 2 takes less force to initiate it than does a front 2 where you have to completely change your natural motion.

hitting rails switch is mad fun, you just have to get over the fear factor

I learned to FS before BS only because its my natural way to spin. i just depends on which way you naturally spin
