Natives aren't brown or Indians, they're natives. They are native to this land. Just 'cause a bunch of ignorant idiots didn't know where they were or who they were talking to hundreds of years ago doesn't mean you have mimic them. (Columbus was looking for India when he accidentally landed here). Indians come from INDIA. Just like an Irishman isn't Scottish, even though you may believe you're in Scotland.

We got the same debate over here. Coming in and 'taking over land' and stuff. But then look at it the other way. It hasn't been all bad. Where would the 'natives' be now if others hadn't come and colonised in the same territories. I know that in New Zealand they wouldn't have pies, they wouldn't have houses to steal from, they wouldn't have goverment benifits or computers or crappy old Holdens to cruise around in and pretend like they're cool. I'm not being racist or anything but come on, it works both ways. The people who really had a hard go are the aboriginies in Australia, if anyone deserves compenstaion it's them.
