I'm definitely a believer now. I never had a true pair of running shoes till a few days ago. Just took my first run on the Adrenaline 8 and wow are they nothing like I've ever ran on before.

I've never even heard of them till I went to some specialty running store but these things are just sick. They have some kind of roll-bar thing that stabilizes your foot if you are pronated and have cushioners everywhere. Definitely check out Brooks if you want to get into running seriously.

I am not a fan of brooks. asics fit way more my feet, and I couldnt get rid of my pihranas, the lightest racing shoe on tes market. my asics spikes for track fit prime too, light as hell

Not quite www.brooksrunning.com

But the weight is a small factor for me really. I've never had an issue with lightweight/heavier shoes. I'm just absolutely in love with their diagonal roll bar thing. It supports my awkward step and keeps my legs straight and narrow.

Brooks are ok in running shoes, no more. They make running shoes for heavy people (like the Beast or Ariel for women). And that corrector you have (because you are pronated), every company that makes running shoes has them. Top running shoes are def Asics, New Balance or Nike.
