Broken toe?

So i think its broken its huge and purple and shit and kinda twisted (not sure if its from the swelling)

So question can the hospital even do anything about it or should i jus leave it? its my baby toe btw
 
yea maybe, i just wanna know if the hospital can even do anything before i waste my time going in.
 
ive broken a lot of toes, sure the hospital could make a little splint or something, theres no need for it though.
 
They will set it if its displaced then tape it. You can do both at home.

I broke my left ring finger a while ago at a party and thought at first it was dislocated so I tried to set it myself and couldn't (physically couldn't pull it that hard due to swelling) So I had my cousin set it for me. Taped it up and other then it having some ugly scar tissue its fine.

both my baby toes look like theyre broken because of my shitty shoes. theyre all purple but they dont hurt
 
I broke my toe last year,and went to the hospital to have it set, then I found out I had torn the ligament leading to it, got surgury and was out for like a month.
 
The only problem is getting broken toes into ski boots. Sorta just gotta man up, wear tight socks, and shove your foot into your boot without rocking your broken toe.
 
I went to the hospital when I shattered my big toe in to 12 different pieces a few years back. They took xrays, said "yep, it's broken", gave me a walking boot, gave me a script for some vicodin, and sent me home. If anything, just go see your family doc. I wouldn't waste the money on the ER.
