broken ski

so i've only had my 1080s for 3 months and i already cracked the edge in three places, causing the edge to start peeling off. my shop called salomon and i have to send them out to see if it is a 'manufacturer's error.' so i'm gonna be without my skis for at least two weeks...and i might not get them waranteed. if so that would really suck.
