Broken nose

how many of you have broken your nose?
i did today and am curious how long it takes for it to heal/what to do
 
well, youre not gonna be popular anymore thats fo sho

just takes a while. get it fixed/re broke into place obviously. probably hurts like a bitch but id say a month till the pain/swelling stops?
 
haha i really couldn't care less about popularity
it doesn't seem like it's too crooked though, my parents don't think i should get it fixed back into place

 
I did it long ago, healed fine, i broke it in though from my ski gogs hitting a bamboo gate flying off course. I wanna see a pic and hear a story
 
i was skiing and went to jump off of something and didn't realize there was a fucking ditch at the bottom of the jump, so i didn't clear it totally and my ski got caught
which caused me to land flat on my chest and face haha, but i think my goggles blocked some of it and that's why my nose isn't totally crooked and messed upblood was everywhere
my chest hurts too which is great, i'd hate my life even more if i broke ribs
it didn't hurt all that bad though, i skied the rest of the day no problem after first aid released me
 
they way to test when it has healed is, every morning when you wake up just give your nose a solid hit and when it doesn't hurt then it is better.

broke my nose when i was 8, the doctor reset it, wore a bandage for about a week, now it looks as if it was never broken, but they said it was because of my age, had two black eyes though for about 3 weeks

then only negative out i got out of it is that now i snore

if it were me i would just go talk to a reconstructive surgeon, depending on how you broke it you might not have to get it fixed,if you have multiple breaks then you might want to get it fixed, unless a bump or crooked nose doesnt bother you
 
broke mine a few years ago mountain biking. It healed pretty fast, only problem was I had to DJ at a club two nights after I snapped my nose. So it was safe to say I was not bringing home any women
 
broke my nose coming off a box switch...landed front seat and went pole top to face....not very nice but i knocked it back in the bathroom haha...now i ski with midget poles
