Broken links everywhere...

it literally took me 15 trys to get into here to be able to reply, probally 9/10 times it takes me to the main forums page, or my cult forums page, shit gettin redic. gotta get it fixed.
 
Word...i've been trying to post in this thread for the past 5 minutes and it keeps sending me to the main Forums page.

the entire site is loading random shit with every hyperlink.
 
ok it just took me like 5 minutes to finally get onto this page so i could reply, i must have clicked on the site discussion button 30 times and the thread button 20 times and the reply to thread button 10 times...this is fucking ridiculous i can't look at any threads because it just keeps sending me to the damn forums page instead of where i want to go.

sorry for my poor grammar but i'm pissed off right now.
 
Its getting seriously bad here guys. I couldnt do cults, main forums, even this one. Reloaded cache, restarted... just bad news. This is bad bad shit guys.
 
its bad for me too, around half the links i click take me to random parts of the site.

its irritating.
 
This is the same problem I was having when i made the original post...apperently i was the only one back then though
 
this is impossible.. every other click sends me to a random place.. its making me mad
 
strange, now it seems to be working for me again!

I just went ski gabber ->cults -> on3p skis -> cults -> site discussion -> this thread -> reply without being redirected
 
I have been getting sooo many broken links in the past couple of days...I just posted in a thread and it redirected me and put my post in a thread that was from 03'
 
We'll get on it tomorrow. I think Paul has figured out what is causing it... no idea why the frequency is going up.

We'll get it sorted out, sorry for the inconvenience!

 
hahaha when i hit reply to this thread it took me to the list of forums, it happens like 1/3 of the time i click on a thread or reply button, it's starting to get annoying
also with some people when i exchange pm's it says they haven't read them eventhough they've clearly responded to them
 
and...suddenly it's working decent again. only had a couple of broken links in the last 10 minutes.
 
Yeah it was only whilst the movie was streaming and coming up to it..i think there were 1000 members on at one point
 
Guys the problem is only happening when there's large amounts of traffic hitting the site. Paul has identified the problem, but has yet to come up with a solution.

Its a super weird obscure issue, which should have an easy fix. Easy fix didn't work, but he knows exactly what is causing it. Just has to figure out why the fix didn't work...

But yeah this has actually been a problem for a while, but it only happens when there's tonnes of people all at once on the site. During the movie, tonnes of users were interacting with the site, thusly causing the problem.

Working on it... we'll get er!!!

 
yeah i have the bad link problem all the time. and sometimes it logs me out for no apparent reason. anyone had that? like i click after typing and instead of posting my post, it sends me to the thread list but im not logged in.... then i have to log in and retype my response.
 
The problem with the links getting mixed up may cause you to get somebody else's link to the logout page, or link to a forum page you don't have access to, thus redirecting you back to the forums home.

We launched an update on Friday that should reduce this problem greatly. Is it still happening to you now?

Should be greatly reduced.... please watch carefully between 9 and 11pm EST tonight/tomorrow. If its going to happen, its going to happen then.

 
it happened like 3 times. but now it hasnt happened again. so its less frequent than before hahahaha its a start
 
When did it happen 3 times?

This is very important... a big change was launched and if it happened 3 times before that then its natural. If it happened 3 times after then we've got some work to do still.
