Broken Jaw its not all its cracked up to be

So Friday night I was bombing some hills on some random skateboard, and I got going to fast a speed wobble happend. I did what I always do just jump off and run it out, but not this time, jumped off lost my footing due to a back ankle and slammed my face on the curb. after that there was a lot of drugs put in to me, and i was being moved all over the place from the ER to the OR. I finaly came to with a cute nurse asking if i wanted a bath.. Yes Please. But to make a long story short I'm on my fifth day with a broken jaw and eating every thing with a straw is getting old fast, and trying to talk is just a bitch.I still have 2 more weeks of this. So for everyone out there, try not to break your jaw ever, and for those that have I now know how much is sucks.
 
apparently you can get medical marijuana for a broken jaw.  might be something to look into if your into that kind of thing
 
yo today i was skateboarding to work and i was going mad fast down a really steep street when i realized how loose my trucks were...i would have broken my jaw and worse but i somehow managed to keep my deck stable

But yes you can get medicinal marijuana, depending of course on which state you are in. And all my sympathy goes out to you, I just got all the wiring out just over a week ago.

Eating through a straw is brutal. I hope your fat because you're going to be losing some weight.

remember the frosted flakes commercial where the guy puts the frosted flaks in a blender with some milk and purrees that shit and gives it to the dude with the broken jaw? is that what its like? if it is that sucks dude. im sorry.
 
My friend broke his jaw in three places last night skating the same way as you.

How long was yours wired shut? 2.5 weeks? How long did it take for it to heal?
