watch ski movies and relax because 5 weeks isn't the whole season.

agreed. It's september dude. You have plenty of time to heal and still have a full season. That being said, best of luck in your recovery! I hope you're back out there in no time!

Where do you live that its snowing?

I broke my ankle a couple days ago too and gotta wait 6 weeks but it isnt gonna snow for at least 3 months where i live

Watch some movies and stay off it. Best to let it heal correctly then making it worse. Also don't slack on exercising it when you can, that stuff makes a difference.

I'm still dealing with a moderately sore ankle from a class 2 sprain 3 months ago.

Its a week and a month.. a basin opens up in about a month, keystone opens in 5 weeks, brick opens in 6. I'll think you'll be good man.

IF you're in the southern hemisphere you pretty much missed it. Heal up and better luck next year. IF you're in the northern hemisphere you'll be able to ski at the start of the season, what's the fuss about?

Brother tore his ACL, MCL and mensicus wakeboarding which translates into missing the whole ski season.

So be thankful that you're not the designated photographer for the year!

I broke the 2nd & 3rd metatarsal 4 years ago and from my experience the quickest way to heal is to start putting some weight on it as soon as you can, in one of those support boots if you have one, then elevate it above your heart when you chilling. After 5 weeks it was good to go. Was difficult getting it in my ski boot for the first time but once it's in it feels soo good, nice and compressed.

If you go on some online forums for broken metatarsals you will see the people who do no weight bearing for 6 weeks + all saying that it's taken them 2-3 months or more to heal.

However I'm not a doctor, just speaking from personal experience.

Fuck it dude you're rollin with Goonchild now. Just shove that broke ass foot into a boot like its your massive dick (obviously massive since you roll with the lords of swag at Goonchild) and huck somethin hella rad. Don't let being broken brake your spirit.

fix it

don't try to come back as soon as you can, really let yourself heal completely before you come back. it'll be worth it in the long run so you don't hurt yourself worse
