Broken Elbow

Ya so this past season i broke/dislocated my elbow off a rollercoaster rail. And i have to say it can be one of the worst bones to break. I had 2 months of phisical therapy for 3 times a week. And they would streighten out my are like 15 degrees every time. and my arm still doesnt go straight it sucks. Has anyone else broken their elbows?
 
ahh i broke my elbow 3 years ago. worst thing that ever happened to me. i had this massive cast that went up my entire arm and 2 pins in my elbow. the cast was so heavy that i couldent walk without it herting like a bitch.i can straighten my arm i just cant bend my arm up all the way anymore.
 
my friend broke his, and the doctor completely fucked it up. the staples spit after surgery, during surgery the doc killed a bunch of nerves, had to replace the two pins, and basically its just one big clusterfuck.
 
dammit.

I just broke my elbow (right elbow, and I'm right handed) on march 1st...

BUT I saw a specialist a week later and he said not to have it heal in a cast or sling, or else I would have problems with stiffness.

so I have no cast as of two weeks ago and I can write/brush my teeth/almost bend it all the way up, but apart from my elbow hurting my muscles feel sore and my wrist feels sprained. and I can't turn my wrist all the way around.

has anyone ever heard anything about the stiffness problem from healing in a cast??
