I don't even know what happened I just noticed my brake was bent and found that.

ain't no way. this not an edge crack. this an edge explode. i've seen people cut out the edge and part of the base then epoxy

That's definitely fixable by a quality shop. Expect to pay some dece coin for it though. What they'll probably do is cut out the damaged portions of base and edge, repair the core with epoxy and fibreglass if necessary, and then put in a base patch and new section of edge.

Probably not worth attempting a DIY repair i.m.o.

Nah that kind of repair is kinda fun and necessary to learn if you ever are gonna get serious about maintaining your own gear.
