Broken Edge

I just bought a pair of AR6's(2009) and used them this season. By the end of the season the edge broke and there was some attempted fixing that diddnt work. Now i need to buy a new pair of skis and im not sure whats trustworthy anymore. I want the same kind of feel to that ski but, of course a stronger edge. Thanks.

liberty has a softer metal used in the edges. with normal edges the friction from the rail heats up the edges and then when you immediately come in contact with snow on the edges the edges get cold. when metal becomes hot but cooled immediately it causes stress on the metal. so with liberty the softer metal doesn't become as stressed
 
my armadas lasted 4 years of jibbing. 2 were really hard.

i would continue to trust armada if i were you. did edge rip out? or was it only a little crack... pictures would help
