Broken edge

i would bring it to your local shop, they have the right tools... other then that i wouldnt mess too much with it, you could pull more/all of it off.
 
After skiing on my Afterbangs for about a month, both of the skis have a crack about midsole in the edges. The wood is starting to separate too...
