Wow I just barely remembered that I broke my collarbone... my sister threw from a barn loft. Mine healed really fast but I nearly broke it again that winter skiing. It sucks.
I just had a brace for a couple of weeks and my sister had to go to a looney bin and be observed hahahaha and then for a year after she had to go to anger counseling.
my friend broke his collarbone playing soccer. It was funny cause he walked around with a sling for like 4 months.
okay, i just gotta say...please stop making the FARP video things. Its cool if you wanna make them and all, but dont make a website about it etc. Or at least get better first. You are hurting the industry. When snowboarders see skiers like Fred and Randall doing stupid flailing 360 attempts 8 inches off the ground, they laugh there heads off, and skiing takes another blow. So please, if you wanna make your movies, thats cool. But just stop trying to get noticed. Thats all. Peace. P.S. Your spinning the wrong way.-sunvalleyskibum
itsbackfarptime i too broke my collarbone playing soccer....slide tackled the fuck out of this kid that was like two years older than me and then his no talent ass fell on me right as i was rolling over. took me out for the rest of the season but definitely wasn't the worst borken bone i've had.....took four or five weeks b4 i was pretty much fine again - i just got lots of shit talked to me because all my friends called the sling/brace thing a bra and it pissed me off
broke it last summer playin football....healed in like 6 weeks.....then the day i was realesed i went and played ball in the park(tack,no pads)....and snapped it again....collerbones suck...they say its one of the most painful bones in your body to break
jarett your a fool and im jealous of you because you got a quote in someones signature-RS4LIFE
yeah thats what everyone has said to me. but i have never been in any pain. when i first broke it i didnt even think it was broke. i got up my arm felt stiff so i tried to shake it off. then i touched my sholder and i could feel the bone and then i new it was broke. all the doctors thought it was painful but truth be told my scraped nee hurt more. although all this vicodin is damn good
i made a post about a month agao with like this same title, yeah i borke mine, its like the least painful injury, yet its the most annnoying i think, i had to wear a figure 8 brace and i get it off in a week.
we want a band to play as loud and hard every night and doesnt care how many people are counted at the door
Yeah I broke mine 2 days after Christmas 2 years ago. I only snapped it so it looked like /\, but 4 weeks later I broke it again playing floor hockey in gym. Same thing happened to me though, I didn't know I broke it until I tried picking up my arm. I hope you heal up man.
ive broken mine twice, once on each side. my only advice is to chill for 8 weeks. that way you can be sure its fully healed. collar bones are really easy to re break if you push them to soon.
I broke mine a couple years ago. I was fine a month later for lacrosse. I didnt even think it was broken when it happened, i got up and tried to ski down the hill and i could feel the bones moving against eachother, so I sat back down. The doctor at the first aid place had everyone gather round to look at my x-ray because it was such a gnarly break.
This Week I went to Outdoor school Camp with my grade. My teacher was in a Field talking to his Girlfriend at 11:30 pm, my friend and I were suspicious so we flashed a flaslight in the eyes of my teacher and they were closed. We Burst out laughing I said'His having phone sex'. So the Next Day I went around and told EVERYONE in my grade what happened last night. I said to them 'on the count of 3 we'll say MR. GIBSON were you MASTERBATING last night. My teacher we so red, it was fucking Hilarious
I broke my collar bone 31 days ago mountain biking. It was really painful at first (although I just thought i was winded). It seems to be healing pretty quick it's just about ok for normal stuff at the minute but I'm not doing many sports for another month to be sure- that's maybe too soon. My doctor said nothing for 3 months but I can't last that long. Mine was a pretty bad break(in 2 places) and all I got was a lowsy sling.
i broke mine 5 years ago, by far the most pain i had ever been in. it was in november right before skiing doc said no to skiing i said hell with that. senior year of high school i wasnt gonna miss out on my last year of racing. taking a gate right on it sucked hardcore though. good luck with it.
i broke mine when i was like 14 i missed all the christmas break skiing that year but it healed in like a 3 weeks to a month the only thing that sucked was sleeping on ur back for a while and u have to be carefull with it because u only get a sling for it u cant just fuck around with it
whashisface, that sounds like the exact same thing i did. broke it in 2 places from hitting my collerbone on the handlebars (at least thats where i think i hit it).
this kid i know broke his over the summer, and then it healed funny, but his mom wont let him get surgery, because a couple people in their family have died from it... so he walks with his arm at like a fourty five degree angle. its kind of goofy-looking.
