I have broken both collar bones. I broke my left one being an idiot biking and it was a clean break. I was in a brace that pulled my shoulders back, it was really painful but now it is pretty much 100%. The right one I broke in the pipe and it broke like a green stick, not all the way through. I recovered quickly and then broke it or tweaked it at least 5 times after. Everything from flag football to lifting messed it up. Now it is pretty much healed but it took one more skiing fall to really mess it up then I gave it the necessary time to actually heal and took calcium which I think was the big difference. I also started actually doing the rehab exercises.
