Brokeback Mountain

so I was with my girlfriend and we wanted to watch a movie, so we went to on demand to see what there was.

She said "brokeback mountain won a lot of awards I want to see what all the hype is about" so I agreed.

This is the worst movie I have ever seen. Homosexuality aside, the movie had no point. Nothing happened, there was no rising action, no climax (other than some gay orgasm(pun)), and no falling action. THe movie was terrible, the acting was shotty and the entire story line sucked. Did this movie win awards because "its so rebellious and outrageous" to make a gay movie. There was nothing there that deserved any award at all.

i keep hearing all these gay things about it.my mom rented it and was like "i hear its good" and i didnt watch it.i shouldve so i couldve joined everyone on the hating and stuff.i just dont think i can handle a movie like that...its just.....too gay.......

i havne't seen the movie but i have also heard it was bad. i do believe that people are giving it such rave reviews because it is a "gay cowboy love story," which breaks all the cowboy stereotypes. that happens a lot with movies, if they tackle tough or controversial issues they will be regarded as a good movie, no matter how bad of a movie it actually is.

i watched it the other night with the woman, it was awful. they tried to make an artistic meaningful film about something that nobody can take seriously. two dudes humping it out in a tent in the middle of nowhere with a bunch of sheep around is just not something you can make a film about in any kind of seriousness

I saw it with my girlfriend and I agree; it wasn't a very good movie. The plot was weak and they relied too much on the gay thing to make it a big, dramatic, deep movie.
