broke my ski

so today i was sliding a 15 foot flat bar, and i came off about half way and my ski slammed into the support underneath the middle of the rail. Anyway my tip bent up and the top of my ski separated from the bottom of my ski. the core ripped in half. They are line skogens, but they aren't on warrenty anymore, so does anyone know if i can fix this, or should i call line and ask them? any help would be good.

... uhh, you could try. depending on the extent of the damage i guess. i would contact Line though, say your disapointed with the product or something.

line will probably take them back and send you some new ones, but if you don;t wanna deal with that, you can dril 3 holes in the and put screws in them (nut and bolts) that'll keep em together

good luck -josh

It's done for man... the phrase that keyed me on that is 'core ripped in half'

Even if you COULD manage to get them back together (which would be a task), if the core has separated, the ski will NOT be structurally sound and thus not ski well. Sounds like you need a PE for ultimate durability.

If you cant duct it fuck it!

as long as the skis havent havent delamed and the core isnt split to much past the tips also if ya got a riveter lying around that could be fun!

Gotta love the midwest

good news, i called up LINE today and they gave me an authorization umber and address to send my skis. The lady said they were going to look at them and see if it is bad enough to be replaced.
