so i spend my off time at work trying to find good deals on gear

I've recently had the good luck to stumble upon shopgoodwill.com, which is like the cheaper, riskier cousin of ebay

the stuff is typically very used, although i had the luck to get an essentially new in box pair of old raichle boots for 9 bucks.

I've seen full tilts, I've seen armada skis, I've seen good, decent goggles and outerwear go for like 10 bucks a pop.

most of the good items come from the Colorado goodwill, anything decent gets triaged straight from the donation centers to the online store. I'm imagining a lot of folks who have 2nd or 3rd homes buy stuff for a trip, forget about it, and donate it a few years down the line with minimal wear and tear.

most of what you'll find is older gear. mid 2000's to recent twin tips, saw a pair of K2 silencers go for like 35.00 new in plastic.

if you're persistent, and not too cheap you'll be pleasantly surprised with enough effort.

Every year this site get more and more traffic and prices go higher and higher. Its still good deals don't get me wrong, but paying $25 for a used windbreaker just feels kinda scummy. To clarify I mean they start items at $25 that used to start at $5 and a whole lot more shit had 1 cent shipping (they will charge $15 to ship you a windbreaker).

My Dad has been obsessed with the site for the last 10ish years and orders a shitload of stuff from them still (mf gets a new Drone every month and is repairing and flipping them, Golf clubs, Dirt Bike stuff, etc). Definitely got some of my coolest shit from that site over the years too from French ashtrays to a pair of Line Jedi Blades for >$10.

Also how you say "most the good items come out of Colorado" is another cool part of that site. Each part of this country has an item that they get more of than anyone else for Colorado its obviously ski stuff but other places its more random like for example the Seattle/Tacoma area gets more Pendleton Wool products than any other District.

Not to brag, but I want to bump this thread- there's a LOT of decent shit that goes on that site for very very reasonable prices.

got the Tom wallisch fulltilts in my size that were in good shape, then spent 20 bucks on brand new heel pieces and we're golden. the Raichles i got for a buddy of mine and they were in MINT condition, probably lived in some grandpa's closet in arizona for a while before they got donated.

anyone who wants to ball on a budget- if you're willing to put in the work looking for stuff I HUGELY recommend using this site.

worst cost on most things is the shipping.

Some kid bought some Meiers off there for like $190 and now he’s trying to sell them on Fb for like $600 lol
