Brogan wins superunknown

I can't believe this! You have absolutely no clue how STOKED I AM!!!!" said Brogan in an email interview, after learning that he had gone home with this year's Superunknown crown.

Superunknown V generated one of the deepest talent pools to date, with notables including the smooth style of Paul Bergeron, the urban trickery of Antoine Caron, and the insane skills of 12-year old Benoit Morissette.

When all was said and done, Nick Martini had produced the most technical, well rounded, and arguably most outright impressive video, but Jon Brogan's smooth and unique style, and the fact that he embodies everything that the Superunknown contest stands for, put him over the top.

"Thank you soo much for giving me this opportunity!" continued Jon. "Its always been my dream to film with Level 1 Productions !!!!!! I'm so amped for everything!!!"

Jon will be making his way to a couple of Level 1's spring park shoots, following in the footsteps of previous winners while trying to take his skiing to the next level. Keep an eye out for Jon's appearance in the Fall '08 Level 1 film, "Turbo."

If you're out of the loop, check out Jon's video, and the rest of this year's Superunknown finalists on Level 1 TV's Superunknown V Channel.

Brogan is a steeze factory....

and hopefully someone picks up Martini to film because his edit is pretty special.

yea! im so glad......martini is so good but hes already known,......brogan is a g and im super stoked he got it

watch out its gunna be mcKeever next year Ya DIG!

sick skiier sick skiing style but imo those tees and jackets were TOO big. fucking dresses. still props. sick skiing for sure the winner.

congratulations brogan.

Wallisch and Brogan should get their own state holidays in PA or something, maybe a joint holiday of some sort. GO PA!

Sick fer sure, Sure his landings looked forced, but they're pretty G. Maybe if he just loosens up a bit he'd be sicker, but well done, looking forward to seeing the Park Shoot.

It does suck though that Martini didn't win, for not being "superunknown" enough. Hopefully he'll get to go to the shoot aswell. And pick up a solid sponsor.

yeah i definitely thought martini would win. although i didnt think he should cuz i think hes pretty known seeing as he was in Wanderland (meat heads films). brogan on the other hand is superunknown i'm still on the fence about the whole "forced steeze thing"

IF you are serious, you are the dumbest person on here

IF you are not, that joke is not funny at all

Props to brogan

Big Boulder Represent!

its only cause he used ODB, no one can resist that flow.

just joshing hes sooo stezy and he'll be meeting a lot of new people now.

his hands are VERY quiet in the air and that leads me to believe that he is not forcing the style. kids that force that steeze do not have the air awareness he has. tons of kids would love to be able to force that style but they aren't able to. he has natural "lanky steeze"

On your EXPN blog, the skier in the picture is listed as Alex Martini, not Nick. Just a heads up

The caption of the picture reads "Alex Martini (pictured) had the tricks to be a top contender." The "(pictured)" indicates that Alex Martini is the person in the photo -- that is, the person "pictured." Just a heads up.

Hahaha, gold.

Good for Brogan, my friends and I were riding around Boulder 3 weeks ago watching him and Sean Jordan slay the jumpline. His steeze might look forced on cam, but in person its a thing of beauty. Everyone here better watch out for Sean Jordan, next superunkown.

I am super stoked for Jon... and I wanted to claim the second page and I want to say Martini is one of the most awesome, friendliest super talented, outgoing kids I have met to date. Sponsors need to pick this kid up. He has got the personality to be upfront and center.
