does anyone remember in high 5 when it gets real windy and you see dudes basically being dragged around by a dinosaur.
 
didn't chompy get nailed by someone? i forget which movie's credits the shot was in, but i'm pretty sure someone landed and slammed into that goat.
 
Pretty sure it was in Happy Dayz. But the goat was all right.
The coverage from Freeze was awesome. It was in the first issue that I got. Gonna scan the whole article tomorrow. Also found a pretty interesting ''Class of Rookies'' from 2002 that I'm gonna post.
 
Damn i remember those dinos from when i first saw a ski movie or read freeze mag. they should bring them back for old times sake and put them in a new movie's park shoot

Hahahaha, that section was classic. How to become a ski pimp and how to turn your Thule into a bed are two that come to mind. I also remember Brad and Boyd doing a full makeover on Aaron McGovern.
 
Damn, im getting nostalgic over here. I miss the days of Powder Superpark and Parkasaurus. Sigh.
 
Fuck yea he was dope..what movie was that he had a part in with the taking back sunday song?? I remember he had some reallly smooth spins for back then.
 
Dude! that rookie class issue was my first issue, it's still back at my parents house. They were pretty much on point with who they included in there.
 
We were coming up with conspiracy theories today that FREEZE was really shut down by Transworld because of a secret Snowboarding industry plot to stop the growth of skiing back in 2005. (this is obviously not true) What ever the real reason was, skiing has not been the same since and every kid who has gotten into skiing since then has missed out!

Where do you think the inflatable dinosaurs are now? Micah Abrams garage? Maybe they were just rentals...but if not somebody needs to do a throwback video shoot using them all.

I guess its a sign of the times that this thread hasn't gone multi page by now.

6 years ago we have collected jizzed in our pants on seeing the week or two old pics and spartan edits consisting of a bunch of swtich 270 ons and D spin 10s . Alot radder era in skiing than now.
