It's funny because even if he weren't touching the ceiling it's not that impressive judging by the fact he looks 130 pounds. 130=35(bar) =165=pussy shit

She attempted to kill herself with bleach... 4chan bullied the fuck out of her and she ended up killing herself.

I tried. I really did. Your dad really likes that raw, grittiness when he fucks me though, so I left some in there.

I tried this with my friend Eric who weighs about 250 pounds of muscle. The uneven weight distribution was ridiculous as soon as he picked up the bar I couldn't keep steady and I immediately fell over it's much more impressive for the person on the top of the bar and the person benching

164 We were just fucking around But it's much harder for the person on the top of the bar than the person lifting.

Funny, many bodybuilders I know wear hoodies.

How could you mistake bench pressing for arms day? He wasn't "getting technical"; he was pointing out what a ridiculous thing that was for you to say.

I don't care what anyone says. Those guys (it's the guy doing the handstand and Damien Walters) are unbelievable gymnasts and the stuff the do is ridiculous. The stuff they post on their YouTube channel is both insane and hilarious.

yeah this.

the guys who are really serious about it don't really care what they wear. guys that just go to the gym to lift do care.

lifting =/= bodybuilding

The one at my school is... The one in my basement is 25.... Who gives a fuck what the bar is?

It's all about the weight you put up, not the bar dude.

Depends what you are doing. An Olympic weightlifting bar is (men's) 20kg with a 28mm grip while a women's bar is 15kg and has a 25mm grip. The steel and grip diameter affect the whip of the bar which is huge in oly lifting. They also (good bars) have multiple bearing so they spin fast and smooth. Super important when you are trying to get under the bar.

Powerlifting bars are (men's) 45lbs and the grip is thicker. Because they are larger, they don't have much whip and are way stiffer. Good for really heavy squats, benches and dead lifts, but bad for getting from the ground to overhead. Spin isn't nearly important.

The bar does matter, just not to 95% of people lifting on NS.

You have the best posts, my friend! :)

I prefer the 45# bar for most of my lifting, but as you said: for CrossFit exercises, the women's bar is prime.

The weight you put up is affected by the weight of the bar....

You could be putting up 200 with a 20 pound bar or putting up 200 with a 45 pound bar, 200=200.

200 with a 45lb bar might weigh the same as 200 with a 20lb bar, but the one with the 45lb bar is heavier. Simple bro math bro. Seriously though, if you can curl the bar in one hand with ease then switch to a heavier bar.

Are you talking about 200lb in addition to the weight of the bar? That is the only possible situation in which your logic works.
