Bristol Mountain Skiiers

he said he forgot his pass that day, because his friend didnt have 1, so they gave him 1 for the day and he gave it to his friend, then polish just used his normal pass
 
How did they catch him? I know people that do that all the time. I know people that claim they lost their season pass, get a new one printed and give the old one to a friend. And I don't know of anyone that got caught even doing that.
 
ok first of all hes polish, second the lady that gave him the temperary ticket had to watch him put the pass on, and he tied the pass to a string on his hoodie?!?!... four kids were standing right outside the office, including his brother who took a picture and picked up his season pass that day?!?!....then he gave the pass to another kid right outside the main lodge in plain view on a very non crowded day... a liftie who had been nearby the ticket office saw him and caught him when he tried to get on the lift.... that plus some more serious shit that happened last year and thats how you get banned from bristol for life... pretty shitty

what do you guys wear?? i'll be there sunday nights for the next six weeks....

i have AR5s, siver stuka, and i suck like my sig says (not terribly bad, just not nearly as good as the others at bristol)
 
so from what ive read bristols park isnt worth the 2 hour road trip for the weekend then and i should just stay over at shitty holiday valley then?
 
most likely. Last time I was there(Saturday) it was a solid sheet of ice, the jumps were solid ice wedges. Even if it wasn't solid ice its not that good. They haven't built the big jump and they've got me worried that they might not. Seeing how they put that piss poor rainbow box up where the big jump is supposed to be.
 
its not that bad, they are re-doing it tonight...they redid the whole mini park today, and im assu ing the big park is tonight
 
park was sexily soft today... i forgot how nice it is to ski on fresh snow when the temp is still below freezing

this is what i heard..they set up a kink rail, and a jump after the headwall... i'll be there thursday.
 
I ski '06 PEs. I've got light tan pants and a brown orage coat with white on the shoulders and part way down the arms. how bout you?

anyway UPDATE:

i just talked to a friend that works there, and in the mini park they rebuilt like 5 tables, each with two separate lips...no rails or boxes YET....big park has the big jump in and some new rails (not a complete makeover but def an imporvement)
 
mini park has like 4 jumps in it now, each with 2 take offs, spine, and the kink box

big park has 4 jumps in the beginning on the right, on the left there is the mailbox, shotgun rail, a frame, battleship, and then they set up the jump after the headwall

its like 30ft but its setup right on the steep part, idk the runup is sketchy, it would be way sicker if it was a hundred ft farther down so you had more time to setup
 
ill be down their next weekend, ill have white and greene masters shit on. havnt been to bristol in a few years (cuas i moved to NH) but it will be intresting to see what bristol has done to make a decent park
 
i'll be down there a bit. I cant really do much besides rails because i tore my acl and my meniscus last year at tremblant and my leg hasnt got better and jumps would probably just fuck it up more
 
Here's an update on the park. IT IS SICK. The jump below the headwall is bigger now, and they added a monstrous jump below that one. I'm not sure of the actual size, but it somewhere between 30 and 40 feet. Maybe bigger. Props to bristol, they are really stepping up their game and making a sick park.
 
i was looking at ski magazines website or something and for top 10 ski resorts in the east, holiday valley was number 5..beating 5 other ski resorts in vermont.. wtf?!
