So whos doin it!? I am proud to say I am. gonna be sweet and all of you should try it! completely worth it and its great that us Bristol park rats are finally getting some recignition.
 
Its like the freestyle team but ITS NOT! WAYYYY better. its a team for Park SKIERS! practices on sat and sun...... starting next weekend( December 11 ) and one of the guys running it told me they have the ability to build a private jump to train on. and reserve park features to sesh on and get those baller ass tricks on LOCK DOWWWN! heres the info from the site........

New for 2010-11 Season – Alpine Terrain Park Freestyle Team

This upcoming season, the Bristol Mountain Alpine Terrain Park Team will be an expansion of our Parkrunners program to include dedicated training for Freeride/Slopestyle and Half Pipe on both Saturday and Sunday. These athletes will have the ability to compete at local USSA and/or USASA events or just train with the team to develop their skills. The program will focus on park safety/etiquette, the fundamentals of skiing, air (takeoffs, form, landings), rails, etc., all while having a great time!

oh...so your going to be one of those kids...those kids who block off features to a PUBLIC park that i pay $500 to access...and you can block them off just for you. okay.
 
no..... they let kids in.... just not the little shits that we all know and haye. thats what happened with the snowboard freeride team..... they let me and my friends in. whe they reserve something, it really just means that they reshape it after every 5 or so hits on it. if anything happens, tell me whho u are and ill let you in. but that sceario is very unlikely
 
^^^ same I pay 500 for a pass out of my pocket not to mention all the money I pay for my gear if they start blocking off features Ima gonna be reaaalll pissed
 
but what if you think the little shits are the actualy kids that would be in a parkrunner/freeride program?
 
ha you honestly think that if a "feature" is reserved that its gonna stop people from hitting it? This park thing is just a way to get more money from you, You all did know that you can just join the USSA shit and not have to pay the money to be in mogul runners or whatever its called.
 
this just sounds like another bullshit attempt to take kids parents money. 1.) they aren't going to build a jump specifically for this and just let the 10 kids in this hit it2.) if they did where would they put it? 3.) its just taking away from kids who can't afford shit like this but still wanna ski and who's parents just wont give them hundreds of dollars
 
I fucked up, its a addition to the ariels jump on meteor. there will be another side to it set up like a park jump. sorry feel free to make fun of me for being a r-tard. on a side note, whoes goin to Warren Miller tonight?!?!?!
 
they wanted him to work at comps, like far away and expensive to travel. and he didnt want to spend the money and time away from school

and to the other kid: it was that mountain command program. idk if youve heard of it but its on their site. you get sick discounts on gear and in return you help the local reps and shops etc. its kinda like a flow rider i n skating, bmx, etc. all the top pros on libe that have been withthem the longest( pollard, tc crew) started @ this level.

oh word well i guess thats a pretty legit job as long as you don't become a bitch and its not your "job". cause mixing working and skiing together sucks.
