there is night comps all the time, but could you imagine the epicness of a rail/ big air comp with just a headlamp? haha [MOV][/MOV]btw couldn't decide between ski gabber/non ski gabber.
 
i think it would look sick becuase you would just see a spinning light, and it would show who really has a sense of stomping things without having to think about it at all.
 
Yeah, I can see it. That would be baller! They could paint psychedelic pics, logos and stuff on the hits and the landings with glow in the dark paint. Strobe Lights would be sick around the rails. Could you imagine how sick that shot would be?

Claim: Back in the day Vail put on a ski show at night. In a few shows we skied wearing Christmas lights. Each string of lights was powered by 2 DD's. We wrapped them around our legs, arms and torsos. It was heavy and kind of a pain in the ass, but seeing a human Christmas tree hit a 50 foot table at night was pretty f_ckin sweet.

ahh my bad haha. They are a kind of downhill endurance race like what you posted. You ride from 10 AM to 10 PM and who ever gets the most laps wins. They do one in Angel Fire as I posted above, your post just reminded me of the burners.
 
Iv always wanted to try to ski trees at night with a headlamp, just could never find someone else to help take initiative and do it with me
