Brim or No Brim?

I can't decide if I like the look of brims on helmets. Are they helpful? What do you think?

get a normal helmet and wear a brimmed hat underneath, you have a choice then. 9/10 times the brims on helmets are so small they won't give you any shade anyways.

i think it all depends on what looks the coolest. i think both styles look cool. get whichever you like and whichever you can find for cheapest

I'm all for brim, it's why I bought a Bern Watts. It's there, but not too big, that's why I like it. Some people (snowboarders mostly) like to wear Sandbox helmets because they have a bigger brim, but I think they're shit helmets protection wise. Mind you, many might say the same thing about Bern helmets, but there hasn't been a time where I felt safer with it off than on.
