If any one rides Brighton I was wondering were the good spots that I here so much about and see in magazines are found. I only get to ride there for a week every year because I don't live in Utah. It's my all time favorite resort I like it more than whistler, snowbird, PC, mount hood, ect.

 
brighton's your all time favorite resort? you should try solitude. much better terrain with a lot less people. i'm not very familiar with the brighton terrain as I usually only go there for park night riding, but my buddies are always talking about the good backcountry riding off of the millicent lift. there are a lot of really nice rollovers that are perfect for kickers and it's literally just minutes outside of the boundary. the millicent lift is also where they used to hold big mt. comps as well (i think?). there a ton of nice looking drops in that area but the 2 seater is a little sketchy on windy days.

 
all u need to do is poke around a little bit. Brighton is the shit, way better that solitude if you are in to jibbin. i have only skied there a couple weeks though and it was snowing the whole time but they definiatley have some sick cliffs and park action going there

 
sweet thanks I've riden solitude I don't know why I just like Brighton the best. anyways do you know if they have anywere that tells you the avalanche conditions because I know some resort will tell you if it's safe or not.

 
yeah brighton is much better for park (solitude doesn't even compare).

you can check websites for avalanche reports. or just ask the patrollers.

 
sweet thanks now what side do i go out of bounds on right or left if your riding down the mountain. and around were are these rollers.

 
look here is the skinny. look up and to the left of mili. that is where you want to go. where all those dope drops are that you can see from the road. get off mill traverse left go thru the gate if open and have fun

remember though that it is actualy backcountry conditions, no patroll, no avy control. so just be aware af whats up and don't die in a slide and ruin it for everybody

no problem I don't plan on dieing, I'm not dumb enough to go into an area with a good chance of a slide I just want a jump were i don't have to wait in a line and i can land in some good pow. i dont plan on jumping 50-100ft. cliffs either just 20 or 30. But i promise not to ruin it. so is it the cliffs that are to the left or rollers and cliffs because the way you explained it it sounds like just massive cliffs

 
milicent is sick, but if u drop in the back that looks sick too but ive never really considered even going in there

but ive only been there a handful of times

Ya brighton has alot of sick jump sites just outside of the boundary and millecent is great for park riding but it does get sketchy in the wind

 
and another thing, if brightons ur all time fav then y do u have to ask where the sick shit is?

K brightons my alltime favorite resort because thats were i started and i don't know about anyone else but i kinda hold something for it. I was born in utah and I hate living anywere else. Utah's home. Brightons were my roots come from and it's a sweet resort.

 
There are some pretty big drops back there, so be sure to scout a couple of times. Like Mary chutes and shit can get pretty big. And you won't be alone back there on a good day. That shit's no secret.

i love brighton it is really under rated millicent side is just sick ! the park is fun when the pow is tracked or there is no pow!

lots of easily accessable cliffs
