Brighton or Canyons?

They're both good... Brighton gets more pow, Canyons has a better park (in my opinion). Brighton is probably the best of both worlds. Both have good slackcountry access. Canyons is more crowded, Brighton is more difficult to get to. If Guardsman was open in winter I'd get a Brighton pass, but it's not so I'll be at the Can this season.

Canyons barely had a better park this year, brightons pow/all mountain skiing is 100 times better.

Canyons, best of both worlds. Brighton might get more snow but they dont have as much terrain. Canyons jumps are a lott better and has more creative features.

Girl you tripping. Brightons backcountry is by far better. Canyons has a total of 3 cliffs non of them that fun. For sure on Canyons park though, last year was one of the most fun setups I have skied, it went forever. But the few times I did ski at Brighton last year I feel they really stepped it up in the jump deptment but that is not saying that much.

Yeah I agree. The pow and all mountain you get at Brighton is far superior. You will also get overrun by gapers at canyons

the Beginning made me lol. I don't ski backcountry, more of a park rat so in that department I would say you are probably right. My overall point was that there is more places to go at canyons because it's bigger. quantity vs. quality I guess. Stoked to get into more pow skiing this season tho!

Brighton has the more backcountry side while Canyons has the more park side....there's your decision but quite honestly Brighton is not that bad for park, unless you want jumps, and its way more of a Homie status mountain. Shit is so chill there, all the lifties and riders are homies and I feel that Canyons is a little more corporate like PC or Deer Valley. Idk, its the little things that count.

canyons is way less crowed and most of the people that ski there dont ski off-piste. this combined with the massive number of skiable acres means that untracked snow is stupid easy to find.

brighton definitely has better inbounds cliffs, but canyons has some good ones if you know where to look. if you want big cliffs at canyons, you can go through the backcountry gate and hike for ten minutes and find huge stuff.

as far as park goes, canyons park was really fun this year. the jumps werent huge, but neither were brightons. they had alot of fun jibs and the park was way long with high speed chair laps. plus canyons has free hot chocolate.
